Remembering Por Por places archival family photography of Por Por back into the intimate spaces and belongings of her home. It is within these compositions notions of time, memory and migration come into focus. Each familiar setting could belong to any of us, but as these images reveal, they are part of Por Por’s narrative - a Chinese Singaporean Australian woman. This series revisits Por Por’s House, with the addition of family archival images - placed in and curated through the eyes of her Eurasian Australian granddaughter.
